Gene Williams has been in industry for over 25 years, as a senior manager, entrepreneur, and board member. From 1998 - 2005, Gene was at Genzyme corporation, where he held the roles of SVP and General Manager, Immune Mediated Diseases, SVP – Program and Portfolio Management, and VP – Global Marketing for Genzyme Tissue Repair. Gene was a founding director of Adheris (acquired by InVentiv), the leading patient compliance intervention company and Sleepmed, a leader in the field of ambulatory EEG and Sleep Disorder management. Gene has served on the Boards of British Biotech and Vernalis, on the Compensation and Audit Committees.
Gene has worked in consulting at Bain, Corporate Decisions and the Axon Group. Gene received his AB in Economics from Harvard College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
