In an industry facing increasing pressures, too many promising drug candidates either cannot get funded because of the current economics of drug development or a product that works, but has failed because the trial has not demonstrated it.
TMI believes that both situations are a tragedy and India can play an important role in addressing each. Through greater speed and lower cost for phase 2 and 3 studies, and the opportunity to design and implement more sophisticated PoC studies so that unnecessary failures are avoided, TMI seeks to contribute to improving the harsh economics of pharmaceutical R&D faced by so many companies.
