TMI invests a significant component of its resources in developing, understanding and following up on clinical cohorts. The current areas of TMI’s research focus include a number of Gastrointestinal Diseases, including Ulcerative Colitis, Colon Cancer and Mucositis. TMI is also following is proprietary research programs in Respiratory Syncytial Virus, several areas of Oncology, Ophthalmology and lifestyle disease such as Diabetes Mellitus. In these disease conditions, we have developed cohorts, clinically characterized them, collected samples for molecular analysis. Samples are also archived for measuring molecular markers such as those required for proteomic and genomic evaluation.
The cohorts are followed up periodically.
